Does anyone ride around Montgomery? If so how late in the year do you ride? I'll be in the area from Oct-Nov if anybody has an empty seat in their boat they would like to fill. I'm in for gas and cleaning.
November riding is starting to push it in Alabama, but it varies from year to year, I have been as late as the end of October in a shorty wetsuit. Some seasons it is still warm and others it has gotten pretty cold by then.
Do you know when they are going to start lowering Gantt lake? That will probably hinder our riding there for a few weeks.
Greg, I agree with Stephan. Some years you will not have a problem riding through Nov. and some years a couple of cold fronts have already turned the water frigid.
hey greg , where do you ride ? on the river ? i live on jordan and we are still riding . but when hunting season gets going good , i slow down , but some friends keep riding all year , with a wet suit. what kind of boat are you in ?
Clay, I'm currently in Spokane Wa...so I'm very familiar with cold water. Work is bringing me to Al for a couple of months. I normally ride behind my vlx.
