Anyone know if or of a place you can rent a houseboat for Brostock or would that not be a good choice? We have a boat we could bring down but it'd be nice to just show up and not have to worry about towing the boat down + lodging.

I went to Brostock last year and we did the haul our boat route. It worked out really well. We got there a day or two early and rode 6 hours each day then saw all the pros and stuff at the motel and bar on shore after the sun went down. It seemed that most of the goings on went down on shore. The only time we were out on the water with all the athletes was during the actual contest. I'm not sure of your situation but we only had 5 people and we wanted to board and surf. The lake is amazing. You will have a blast no matter what! Cant wait for this year!

Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock rents houseboats. Jump on it quick because they were out last year.

All the boats are gone as of now. I've been on the waiting list for about a month now hoping to get one. Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock is the only one that I can find that rents them. I guess you have to reserve the day the dates are announced or they are all gone.

Last years event was fabulous!
I brought a 5th wheel camper,.. so hotel accommodations were not an issue.
A good alternative if the hotels get filled up is to bring a camper or use a big tent at the many RV campgrounds at Bull Shoals (or Mountain Home which is only 12 miles away on lake Norfork.) Both lakes are great great great!
The RV camp grounds are alot cheaper than paying for a room.
So if you can't find that room,.. do the cook out, camp out thingy, roast weenies, marshmallows, drink some ice cold O'douls then jump in your boat and enjoy
the greatest show on earth "Bro-stock at Bull Shoals"!!!!!
