I was thinking about suggesting a LF Trip as a good beginner board for a friend. What are you guys thoughts?

Thanks
Preston

That is what I first learned on... loose and fast, so it is not for everyone. Hopefully you still have the center fins for the first couple of sets!

I started out with the trip and loved it. But I wanted to try something a little different and bought the omega, which is pretty much like the trip, but I absolutely loved the way the omega handled better on the water.

I still ride my first board which is a trip 134 and I love it. Its beat up like crazy from cable parks and two years old but I may just have to buy another one. Its gotten me as far as solid heelside and toeside wakejumps as well as wake to wake 180s. Even keith lyman rode one before he got his pro model. I like it for learning because it the continous rocker makes for a smooth transition jumping the wake and isn't so explosive so its really easy to handle.
