I just got a 2007 VTX with the illusion tower, and want to run the wire for my tower speakers. I know that the tower is pre-wired for speakers, but what is the best way to get the wire on the driver's side, to the passenger side?

That wire on the drivers side "should" be for lights. All the speaker wire should be on the passenger side.

Okay, cool. I haven't really taken a good look at the tower wiring yet. I am trying to get as much done possible before taking it to the shop.

My 2007 and earlier Malibus have speakers wires on both sides. My 2008 was wired the way Ryan said.

07 will have speaker wire on the left side and light wire on the right. malibu only left 2 feet out of the tower. if you dont want to splice your wire i would plan on pulling new wire and using the old wire to pull it. that is what most people do and you will find it to be fairly simple.
