well, I just took them apart, had them for an old boat, but now have an X-10, so I was planning on modifying them a bit and using them.

Anyway, anyone know why they would be hooked up out of phase??? there is a posotive and negative pole coming out of the tube... from that, the negative pole goes to one positive and the opposite's negative, and the same with the positive pole... so it's not like typical series, and it's not really parallel.

(pardon my crude pic)

both speakers are 4 ohm.

nevermind, i figured it out, they run them out of phase so they don't blow up.
