It looks like you're doing a great job. Aren't you worried about gettin' those amps wet, though?

I did a similar project earlier this off-season, but I've already bored everyone with the pictures.

yea the water from the wet boards when you put them up on racks will drip right on the amps....if i were you and those two boats were mine, sell them both and get new x-star or x-2, just my opinion, then only one payment and insurance bill and maintance bill.

1999 CC Air is for Saturday
2001 X Star is for Sunday
I had one amp there last summer and it was ok but if they get wet I will move them.

When I wake up in the night with a wet spot, it's because I've been dreaming of being able to park my boat in a garage like that

Installed quick release brackets for my swim platform (got them for $20 off Wakeworld). Would have been simple, unscrewing the old from the boat/platform, and screwing on the new ones, but the hole pattern for the platform was different for the QR brackets than the fixed, so i filled the old holes with wood filler and drilled new ones, finished it up last weekend.

now all that is left is

Install the PP WB pro i just got off ebay (new, $850 shipped).
Install an amp, sub, and tower speakers.
Repack thru-hull(priority).
Install gator grip on gunwales for steps and rear as transom saver.
Install transom remote (low priority, but desired)

why do you have duct tape closing your exhust port? dont forget about that...heh

if you leave your boat outside for the winter, its good to tape the exhaust outlets, that way, birds, spiders, and other little varmints can't make their homes in your exhaust system.

Here is my winter project. I've completely redone our pontoon boat - yes that's right, we have a pontoon boat. This is in addition to the MC and it serves as a great floating dock!

Long story short, I've completely striped this thing to the metal frame and replaced everything else. I didn't touch the motor (besides new gas hoses - had to replace the gas tank), but everything else is new. Check out the pictures here.

Yep, it's kit boat.

Can't I just have a little more fun Tracie?

I'm kidding, you know that - have all the fun you want. So when are you going to start that project of yours? I'd love to at least see some progress pics.

This was last winter, but I had to fix where some glass had delaminated from the main stringers. Wood was still hard luckily. I let it dry out all winter and about April I did the 'glass work. While I had the tank out I put in new exh hose from the mufflers back, new fuel filler hose, and new pitot tubing.

I also rebuilt the carb and made a wedge for it. :-)
