I currently ride a Premier 140, beginner/intermediate rider. I will be taking some lessons in a couple of weeks and the school is sponsored by CWB. What CWB board would you recommend I demo that would ride comparably to the Premier? Thanks.

Coming off a Premier you would like the Absolute, but also the Pure and Flame.

I was riding an '04 141 Premier and I bought an '06 141 Absolute Platinum. It's a great board and I would recommend the Platinum to anyone.

I came off a Premier. was dead set on the absolute platinum, and borrowed one to demo just in case there was anything i didn't like about it. Took along a natural for the heck of it. Wound up buying the natural. Just felt more fun :-)
If you MUST HAVE something comparable to the premier, I'd say the Absolute. IMO it rides *exactly* like the premier, just has tad more pop. After demo-ing the Absolute, i was thinking "geez this feels so much like my premier, what the point of a new board?"
the natural works way better for me :-)
it might not for you, so demo demo demo :-)

try a marius...nice big pop, great edge-hold and super soft landings.

in my experience, the only thing they have in common is that they both have 3-stage rockers. the absolute has way more pop, not as grippy, lands way softer and nowhere near as slow as the premier.

Absolute Platty for sure, it's like a Premier on Steroids!

Chris, no not at all I think he should ride everything he can before buyin a new board, I was just refering to what the post asked, I always say demo everthing you can before you buy and make shure that you get what feels best for you. We are all different and like different things about how boards perform.
