I currently have a Premier handle and while it is comfortable, I find it s
"squishing" out of my hands quite often. Any reco's on a good "grippy" handle?

Thanks!

The "churro style" Premier handle is perfect. Even though it's been a couple years since they made it, you still see it more than any other handle in DVD's.

I hated the premier churro. I got one for free, used it once, and then passed it on.

I still use, and prefer a $30 barefoot slalom handle, with the smooth rubber grip

I'll give props to the Premier handle I rode that thing for three years AND for a couple of those years it was the community handle. It had several hundred sets on it. When I finally gave it away is was still usable.

I have to say...the Proline LG was too heavy for me. I have a Straightline Ultralight and LOVE it.

I love my Accurate Era handle... bigger diameter than most, I hate using anything else...

its all about the girth

Yeah i have an Accurate ERA handle/rope too. i needed another handle because we were just using a basic 10 in ski handle (which sucked) and i just wanted a longer handle. it was pretty cheap ($40) and it seems fine so far!

I've broken two of the watson handles this year, the shane is holding up awesome though. i also have another handle we use on our other boat, its the ronix envoy handle...& its great as well!

I agree with Nick and Michael. We went from many small handle grips to a Proline LG2 large grip. The larger diameter allows for way longer sets before your forearms get sore. The LG was great new but after many pulls the "leather" became loose and rough(texture). A couple of our guys were ripping calouses/sp? off their fingers/hands.

I then bought the Accurate Era because it was the only other large diameter handle I could find locally. So far it's been great. It might be a little rougher (on the hands) than the LG new, but it has held up great. No changes in the feeling yet since spring. LG lasted us about 1 month.

I swear by the larger grips. Even our beginners with small hands never complain about their hands/forearms wearing out, like we did last year.

Can you feel the difference with the handles that flex like the LF handles compared to something stiff like the straightline carbon handles?

thanks for all the reco's...sounds like I should check out the LG and a few others. On the LG, any thoughts on the 1 vs. 2 for medium-sized hands?

Our crew uses the LG and new Premier....we had last years premier but the grip kept coming apart...switched to the LG and loved it....just got a new premier and I like it better if it will hold up.

Everyone in my crew has huge hands and we have found that the bigger diameter handles like the LG and the Era are much easier to hang on to. I personally think the Era is a lot more durable than the LG.
