Decent board for beginner?

A buddy of mine gave me this board but I need to buy bindings. The size is 142. I usually wakesurf because I have a bum ankle. Anyway is this an ok board to get back into wakeboarding and buy bindings for or should I get a newer set up?

OH I used to ride that, nice one oh the memories. (sniffle)
Well at the time it was a rockin board, I loved it. And it is more than fine for any begginer its a pretty simple shape. But compared to todays boards its night and day. If I were you, I'd ride it see how you feel and see if you can demo some newer boards to compare. But I would def keep it for historical value, lol.
