I was riding today and took a good fall my feet came out of my bindings and I noticed that the right binding top eyelet was almost ripped all the way off. Not the orange part that holds the laces but from about 1/2 inch in. Has anyone ever had a prolbem like this? How is hyperlite on repair work on their bindings?

my brand new hyperlite byerlys ripped after about 1 month of use. Put them in the shop about 2 months ago, still not back. I bought liquid force exos, and they are way better anyway. Will never buy hyperlite anything anymore.

I had recurring problems with a pair of hyperlite and my shop gave me loaners until the new ones came in. I wanted to upgrade my bindings this year, and my shop gave me full credit for the most recent pair of binding to rip towards new parks bindings.
I was told by my guy at the shop that the reason they are willing to give loaners and credit so quickly is because hyperlite warranties their stuff quite well.
I will be the first to admit that I should never have boarded the way I did on "Beginner" bindings.
I also let people with size 13 feet put them on.
regardless of the torture I put them through, 2 years later I recieved full price credit for a 2003 pair.

Scott,
That happen to me about a month ago. I took them to my shop and Hyperlite sent me back the 2003 wraps as they have been having a problem with the 2002. Anyways the 2003 wraps have been great and I have not had a problem yet.

Ahh the trend continues.
Yes the 02’s will rip if you have them tight and take a good crash. If you ride in the winter when the water is cold… they will rip even easier. I just did the same thing (AGAIN) on Saturday. I am on my 3rd set of overlays.

The 03’s are supposed to be better… although Cliff ripped his last week. At least I live close enough to get em fixed. I am getting the 03
's as my replacements. Guess that's one way to always have new bindings.
