man its getting bad here. last weekend was like trying to navigate a mine field to miss all the tree stumps. and those are just the ones that are visiable
some of yall remember me hitting a stump earlier in my new moomba causeing $2k in damage.
well just got pics text to me from my sister on there tige'.
apparently when the lake was built in '54 the corp of engineers put tires in the lake for fish habitats (lake is low enough you can see them in alot of places). well they banded all the tires together with 1/2" stainless straping. well my sister and husband hit one of those while idling out of a beach cove. metal straping wraped around the prop and stoped the motor so fast its completely locked up. wont budge. boats in the shop, looking like a bent crank along with alot of other bent internals and driveline.
