I had mine done 4 years ago, and it took probably 2 years to get it back to nearly 100% (I was pretty demotivated and pissed off about it for a long time, so I didn't get into rehab that much at all) but it has been good and bad. Still isn't quite there yet, kept getting hurt by getting a few weeks into training and pushing too hard, still building it back up. I used to not be able to do push ups at all without pain, then only 5 at a time, now I can do a couple of sets of 10 without anything getting sore. The flexibility is probably as good as it's ever been but that took a long time to get back too. Sometimes it gets sore from riding one handed for too long, that was going way slower than riding speed since I was trying to teach my mates how to drive the new boat, and they weren't doing very well... I guess that puts more stress on the joint since the board is deeper in the water. During usual riding it doesn't really affect me.
