How much do you suppose Hyperlite charges for new overlays and an option II? I'd buy a 04 pair of Ultras and make the same things.

They still feel like your foot is in a Ultra binding, but with the support of the Parks binding. They could use a little more support, but that's how I felt about the Parks boot.

by the time you spend the $ Mark, you might as well check out one of the better LF bindings. I did this only because my 2002 parks bindings were destroyed. I got the 2003 overlays on warranty. Then I bought a pair of 2003 ultra which I ended up not liking because I couldn't get out of them. It was a salvage.

I remember seeing a picture of how someone made a seperate lace up over the foot and have searched for the picture, but can't find it

I did that with my parks. Just get another lace and pull tie thingy (thats the technical term). so you have a lace for the back and a lace up front that tightens over the top of your foot.
