I tried a search and came up with nothing. Is there any complications with running a manual wake wedge on a 92 prostar 190 or any other similar boat. I know where i can get a wedge setup and was thinking about using it. I figured on a older boat that i may would need to build a bigger brace for the inside of the hull. Just wondering if these has been done without problems

The Wedge is hull specific to certain Malibu hulls. Not sure the Switchblade is still around, and it can be pretty pricey.

hey jeff, i have the means of custom building the wedge, so your saying that i may have to try several different sizes to get the best results. that the wedge straight off the malibu mite not be the right size for my setup.

I remember that they did do some beefing up on the transom where it was attached.

I know that Jim Aikins of HSE put a wedge on his MC. I think it might have been a Prostar 190. It was a Malibu wedge which required some modification.

so as long as the transom is in good shape then it should be no problem.
