Hmm.....props for going for it... Looks like there is a lot to figure out still. Is he supposed to re-enter?

nice! I was wondering when someone was gonna start attempting a flip on a qp. Looks like hes gonna need some line tension and more air to get a normal flip let alone a double cork down.

I think the line should be traveling parallel to the face of the quarter pipe instead of perpendicular… sort of like riding down a half pipe on snow. I think the rider would have to carry a lot of speed into it though.

Doesnt look even close to a "double cork" at all. Maybe halfway to sticking on invert on a QP.

^^^ I disagree. His board landed first. Halfway on a single invert would put him on his head.

Yeah, halfway is a pretty generous word when talking about a double cork. And maybe his board landed first, but he missed the quarter. So I'm with M-Dizzzle. Glad someone's trying them. Maybe it will inspire Unit to make a quarter pipe that you dont (for some unknown and illogical reason?) have to ollie onto.

looks like half way to slamming on the deck and breaking a bone.

Is the first Cork the part where the board gets stuck on the ramp?

Looks scary is what it looked like. To me it was almost a tantrum-to-ER.

I dont get it is it supposed to be cool or something? Looks more like a guy that got thrown off balance and bailed out the back instead of a trick let alone a double

Yeah, that looks like 1/2 way to a trip to the ER.

Killer rail set-up, though.. I'd like to have that pool in my backyard.

the closest thing to a double cork that has been done are double inverts with a 180 like Bob Soven's trifecta and Parks' double half cab roll and the double mobe basically is one. Double corks just mean that you Dip your shoulder twice basically making a double invert fit the bill perfectly.

I don't think a quarter pipe is where the first double cork is going to go down, just saying
