any body out there have a 92 or older sport nautique? wondering how the wake is with and with out ballast.

I dont have one but everyone says that the older 92 and under nautique 2001 model have "the best wake" of the older models

The wake on it is excellent. Properly weighted most anyone would be more than happy to ride behind it. I do believe though that 1992's has the molded in swim step not the teak platform. The 92's take water over the stern when you chop the throttle. A driver who is aware of this, will not have a problem driving it though. The 1993-1997 models are the same design and will not take water over the stern when chopping the throttle. They changed the hull in 1998 to the TSC hull.

89 was the last year for the 2001 model.
