Red, all that proves is that you are full of it, and work at the docks.

LOL, I'm calling BS as well. Like someone is going to recognize a boat you worked on because of the color scheme???

I'm a CC man myself BUT don't buy the 236 just for the fact that CC has won the coveted "worst dash on a boat since 1972" award.

Now I think the X-star has a dang goofy looking Buck Rogers looking dash, but at least MC tried to do something unique and different. Man, even 1972 is pushing it for the crappiness of that dash. No thought, no imagination, just ugly.

Anyway, sorry, that's totally off topic. I was out at the lake the other day and saw a beautiful X-45 with an amazing wake. If you like the additional room of the X-45 then I don't think you'll miss much in the difference between the wakes.

You can't go wrong with the X-45. The only concern is if you ride 80+ feet back then you will need to be at 22mph (maybe faster if you get the 8.1) to clean up the wake. However, at 102" beam the wake is very wide back there. For our kid's we pull them at 60', wake plate down, and at 20mph the wake is clean and narrower. Also, wake surfing is awsome. This has become a favorite with friends.
