Looking to see what the dash looks like with perfect Pass installed. Did you replace the OEM speedometer with the new perfect pass ? My memory is vague today but isn't the hour meter on the OEM speedometer or is it the RPM ? Anyway, do you lose your current hour meter readings making this change out?

Ok, that makes sense. The instructions called to take out the OEM speedometer but clearly you do not.Does your OEM speedometer still work or did you have to disconnect it? BTW, mines an 03 also.

No the perfect pass is stand alone. The std speedo uses pickups and PP uses the paddle wheel. Do you want a photo of paddle wheel location?

I took out my factory speedo. It was inaccurate anyway and PP has a built in speedo that is on all the time and IS accurate. I also wanted the five inch PP istead of the smaller one.

Mine's setup the same as Steve's. I had the PP on the left originally, then swapped it with the depth finder since I like using the same hand to adjust the PP as I do the throttle.

Steve, Your dash looks mint with the chrome bezels.

Thanks everybody,I will set mine up like Darrens since my depth finder is already on the right hand side.

Darren-That picture of the paddle wheel location would be useful if not too much trouble.

The paddle wheel is to the left of the V-drive unit (looking towards the stern)

7.8" from the center line
5.1" from the back of the gas tank

Thanks Darren, I just got those last thursday. The bezels and the billet kit kind of bring it to life. I also switched out all cup holders with stainless ones.

Darren what is that quick connection for that goes to the Vdrive ,is it to flush out the water?

Its to run the motor off the hose. I just took the std elbow off and replaced it with a T and added the ball valve and hose connection. Its good for doing oil changes and running the motor in winter etc etc.

That connection sure beats crawling under the boat to insert the "fake-a-lake" into the intake grate. I like the quick disconnect you added. What size T is that ? Looks like you used a 1" or 1.5" nipple on 2 ends and used a valve with male threads on the other ? Is that right ?

From memory it is a 1" FFF boiler tee. The ball valve is 3/4" MM with MF bush to bring it up to 1". Its good because when you turn it on it runs backwards out of the intake grate and does not pressurize the cooling system, once the motor starts it draws what water it needs.

Hey Jeff, here are the photos you wanted. The control wires travel around the driver side gunnel. The pp module mounts between the horn and right hand side steering rack.

Kenny,

You can call perfect pass and they will send you out one. It runs about $120 give or take. The billet package runs about $1100.00 with all the pieces. This includes the gunell step pieces, bezels, light covers, ski pylon, steering wheel cap, cup holders, dash emblem, seat emblems, all are billet alluminum and vary from polished to brushed finish depending on what piece it is. I will try and post a pic of the complete package later.

I wouldn't need the other stuff, just the dash part.

PP new face will have to wait a bit since we just had a newborn..
