...and there's gonna be a take three. Sorry I've been slow getting these out, I've had some software issues to deal with. Hopefully after Expo I'll be able to get things all squared away...
There are some shots from the previous trip and some from the more recent one, so if there's some pics that some of you don't recognize then that's why.
riding shots...
wakeskate raley...umm...gone fantastic.
night + stick on fire + beers + cameras...
This one was taken when we initially arrived at 4am...cool truck, huh? Too bad someone had to go and park it in the middle of my shot...
Caught in a quick little storm. First rider off the dock...wake not even really dialed in yet...and bam, lightning strikes and we're done.
Nice evening light? ehh...oh well.
Even when the water level is super low, there's a super cool hidden waterfall to hike to.
Little Backbone waterfall is at the Little Backbone cove. Scott as always great pics. I wish my ankle wasn't so hurt so I could of made it all the way to the waterfall. Glad you guys had a great trip. My houseboat is running great, thanks to Ray. So when you have a chance send me a disk of all the pics. Glad you made it to Shasta more than once this year with me on my houseboat.
Hey Kimmy, sorry about not getting back to you about all your messages. Things have been busy of course. I have a lot of stuff going on from now till the end of October, but you mentioned something about mid November and I could probably swing that, weather dependent.
Well, basically ya take a stick that's on fire and wave in front of the camera a whole bunch while the camera is taking the picture! It does take some practice, but it's fun to do...
And yes, that second one spells out Lindsy. That's the chick's name that was in charge of waving the stick around in front of the camera.
Scott, your pictures are fantastic! I'd really like to get the full size version of some of those. I was really glad that you were able to make it out and that we finally were able to drab Kimmy to our end of the lake for a change. LBC Rocks!
WOW - that is a long hike up to the waterfall when the water is that low. I guess I have never been up Little Backbone this late in the season. How far is the water from the concrete pylons?
