I am looking to get a better prop on my 1990 sport Nautique to help get on plan when I have it weighted. Any one have any ideas.

Thanks for any info, Nick

Call either ACME or OJ props, they are both very helpful in answering your questions and recommending a new prop for your boat.

856 ACME For the best holeshot and heavy loaded boats. A 644 ACME is the next step down witch is good for medium weighted boats. You need to make sure you pay attention when full throttle though because you will hit the rev limiter.

Will both of those rev really high or just the 856? I do not want to go to low because I have a freind with a sky ski that comes out alot also.

Thanks for the info.

They say the 644 will hit also but if you think about it your rarely at wide open throttle. When you throw the throttle down your bringing up right away. We have been putting the 644 on alot of our boats and haven't had any issues.

A 1990 Nauty ain't gonna have a rev limiter...so pay close attention to your tachometer.

If it has a DIS - (distributerless ignition system) it has a rev limiter

Sorry..that technology wasn't available 18 years ago. It probably came stock with points and a condenser.
