Getting married this weekend (YAY!) and we're taking off to Atlantic Beach, NC for a week long honeymoon. The boat/boards are coming with me. I'm looking for a lake or a glassy salt water spot to ride while I'm down there. Here's the google map link of the general area, are any of the local lakes wakeboardable?

Thanks for any info...and BTW, if anyone in the area wants a pull, lemme know.

Not sure about that area as we are in Raleigh, but check out the local site:

I'll get you set up on EORG. Look for the confirmation soon.

Also, there is really no where around there to ride. You can try renting a little skiff and riding in the Intercoastal Waterway, but that really sucks. We have a house on the point in Emerald Isle (opposite end of the same island) but sold the saltwater boat and haven't gotten a new one to replace it yet.

I am about 2 hrs east and will gladly pull you with the X-star if you want to drive that far.

carl, thanks for the info. what's the deal with the 4-5 lakes around there...doesn't look like there's much road access...lakes going to waste?
Thanks for the invite, I will definatly be considering it.

You are all set on EORG. Sorry for the delay.

Also, let me know how you are getting to AB, chances are you may be coming right by where I ride. And I can give you some more info on stuff to do down there.
