what is the average height of a tower, from the deck, i am putting it on an 18ft maxum

i think the tow point is 7 ft. im pretty sure thats what it is.

I have just put a pic of mine on my profile, i have asked for a 7 ft tower, would it be dangerous to go higher, because of balance, any advice would be appreciated

Well, my boat is only 16.5 feet long, it's an inboard/outboard with an 88inch beam. I've had no sway from riders (and I ride with a big guy, hah). I'm sure other boats are different, but mine has no problems.

Where are you measuring pull point from??
From deck of boat our waterline??
19' SeaRay with Monster tower 7'1" from deck, add 6" if to waterline! Hey How Big is 6" Honey???

I am measuring from deck, its pretty much the same as the water line

Yea Jay, there are a few more pics on www.diytower.com. Go to the thread called "Cody's tower project on wakeworld.com" or something like that. I have a bunch of pictures of it on there. I measured from the deck to the tow point. And no, i've not had any fiberglass cracking. I reinforced it pretty well.
