I was able to keep the weight down, the final weight with fins and traction was 4 pounds 3 oz, or 67 oz total. It feels incredibly light and allowed you to just push the board anywhere you wanted.

No heel dents and it seemed to have a little pop off the lip.

Very Nice. You’re best looking board yet. You’re still surfing his late in the season.... I hate you.

Thanks guys! It did come out pretty well,if I do say so myself. I was pleased with how it rode, also.

Ed, you always say the nicest things - I hate you too. :-) Just to warm the cockels of your heart two more pictures, from yesterday. :-)

Whoa a wake board? The conditions look a little rough why do you even bother?

Yeah - that's what I was thinking. You can definately see the rollers in that first picture. Also, I thought you'd enjoy James sans wetsuit in the second picture, 2 days from December. :-)

looks good Jeff, James is certainly flying on it. Did you go with the scimitars and c-5's or the 3/2/1's?

Thanks hatenpain.

We bought some 3/2's also. So yesterday we tested Scimitar's, 3/2/1's, 3/2's and some blue hex FAMS. James prefered the 3/2/1's with the C-5 canards to all other configurations. In the pictures above, we are down on weight about 600 pounds, from our normal configuration. With the weight down, James was punching through the lip a bit. Hopefully with additional weight today, we'll get a better test.

The 3/2's and FAMS are not worth investing in. The Scimitar's trim faster than the 3/2/1's but the 3/2/1's generate more squirt than the Scimitars and provide more "terminal velocity" if you will. Also, the 3/2/1's are abrupt, when they lay over on edge it's not smooth, it's almost jerky, but for James he is able to capitalize on that and really lean on the rail.

Thanks guys, I didn't see the comments! We've been riding it for the better part of three weeks now and doesn't have any heel dents. I was ready for the real test - so we made Dennis go out on it for a bit. It didn't fold! And no denting. Dennis is 270's and the board with fins and traction is 4 pounds.
