What are the dimensions for the compartments on the side of the engine 98 vlx. I want to know so I can order BFI x series fat sacs if they fit.

I have 45 gallon hard tanks in my vlx and can still fit wakeskates and lifejackets back there. I would say you can put a 600 lb sack back there no problem. You will have to put at least 600 lbs in the bow to even it out though.

Thanks Matt
Iam going to run the two BFI X series fat sac(750lbs each) by the engine and run the rear seat bottom sac (680lbs) in the ski locker and maybe some lead in the nose if needed.

That will be a nice big wake! I switched to a four blade 14x16 and I don't even notice the weight out of the hole and my perfect pass stays within +/- .25
We drop the wedge, fill the front sack and adjust the back tank depending how many people are in the boat or the type of surfboard we are riding.
