So I was off work today. Slept in a little bit...watched some cartoons with my son. Finally decided to get something done around the house, so I started some laundry, thinking the wife would be happy, and she will when she gets home. Then edged and mowed the lawn, cleaned up, got some dinner ready to grill out back, tritip marinating as I type...Mmmm gonna be good. Took a shower to get cleaned up. Sat down, opened a really cold Newcastle beer...Then Charlie (my 3 1/2 year old part German Shephard part Rhodesian Ridgeback started going nuts...Like someone was breaking in...or like the neighbors cat is dropping a duece on my front lawn AGAIN...BUT NO! I say again BUT NO! Instead the door bell rang...It's the UPS lady...How lovely she looked in her too tight brown shorts, carrying those big brown cardboard boxes up to my front lawn. Her hair was flowing in the slight breeze. Walking in slow motion like in the movies. And there they were. A sight to behold. My new Zeus bindings and Faction board along side a nice surprise for my wife that is one her way home from work. Her new Ronix Trinity and Torqs bindings. Can't wait to get on the water. Not a bad Monday...Not a bad Monday at all.
