Anyone done it? Thinking of running the pair of Pro 80's I have with a pair of NVS Addictions. Will one drown out the other or will it sound totally messed up? Thanks.

Any reason? No offense, but that's kinda ghetto.

If you've already got one set of something and have to buy the other, just buy a matching pair.

Found a deal on some Addictions is the only reason. Personally I've never heard Addictions but have heard that they have a lower tone and not as bright as the Pro 80's. Was wondering if they would compliment each other.

definately not as brite as the 80's , but asthetically they would look horrible IMO with the 80's.

Anyone ran the 2 pairs side by side even for a sound comparison?

I have heard them both. IMO, I agree with what you heard that the Pro 80s sound more bright. I thought they sounded tinny. Just my opinion, which is incredibly biased by WW standards because I own a pair of NVS 1010s and obviously doesn't take into consideration the rest of the audio set up for the speakers I heard.

I have had both and my oppinion is the NVS will be a tad louder but I thought the Pro-80's sounded a tad more crisp. If I were to buy another boat and get tower speakers, it would be a toss up between the two. I think the Wetsounds look better but I may be drawn to the NVS for the shear loudness.
