tint looks real cool and is functional until you are heading in at dusk or after dark and cant see squat....

it looks cool, but we drive a lot at dusk. I don't think it's very safe.

Anything that obscures your vision is a bad idea IMHO....It looks great though.

my last boat had tinted windows.. definetly looks awesome but not very practical.. were up early in the mornings and out late just makes those late afternoon runs very tough.. even during the middle of the day it seemed a little decieving.. got tired of having a booster seat to see over the windshield..

We put a real light tint on ours, just to get the green color out of the glass.

I also personally like the way tinted windows look. But I drive a bit at night and wouldn't be able to see squate thru tinted windows.

Shouldn't your windshield stick say "Mid * Ari"?

I am thinking of having the window done on my 21V. Question, though: Has anyone had or seen a boat that the tint has been removed?

Basically, I want to get it done and if I don't like it, want to be able to remove it without any permanent effects on the window.

Here is my X2 with 20% and it is not bad. My buddy's X-Star has a fifteen and that is ok too. IMO anything darker than that is hard to see out of even during the day. I have driven a X9 with a 5% and it is not easy to drive.

Yeah Richard, you must be a complete idiot. You made me drive around with that booster seat for all that time and all we had to do was peel the tint off! I'm sure glad you dumped that little cramped up POS.

I'd love to get it done as well... it'd match nicely with the black windshield frame and tower legs. Where have people gone for their tint?
