You've got bigger Kahoona's than I, I'm sure that water isn't any warmer than the air.

It's totally smooth out there, but the water has to be deadly frigid. Besides, my dock and launch are completely submerged from the rains and flooding. I'm going skiing, it will be warmer.

The flooding just made for an interesting set. The water wasn't too cold and I am a wussy when it comes to that. The butter couldn't be beat. Oct and Nov are turning into my new favorite months. Now the clouds are moving in and hopefully I can go snowboarding tomorrow.

mike, i heard seattle got record rain this month. are the mountains getting snow, too, or is it still too "warm" for snow?

the mountians got snow. But then a warm front came through and it rained and melted some of it. I think that is why there is so much flooding. It was warm and the rivers are raging.

Anyway, I went up to the mountains today and was quite envious of the water as I drove down W lake this morning. But it was fun to get out on the snow.

Stevens, baker, the summit, and crystal are all open. Hows the Tahoe boarding? I hope they get dumped on. We will be down in Dec. Joe- if its 48 degrees or less in seattle, then its snowing in the pass.

Absofrickenlutely awesome day today! So what if my boat had a dead battery, we ran over debri overheated, and the docks were a five feet under water. I love this time of year.

Send some rain to Texas, please.

For what it's worth, we had some sweet November butter yesterday too, but it won't be too long before there won't be many usable ramps around if we don't get some rain soon.

In that second to last pic, Mike is actually standing on the dock. So the water level is up about 3 feet, wow!

In summer the tops of those docks are about 3 ft above the water. I'd say the level is about 8 ft above normal (summer) height.

Baker was fantabulous yesterday. Lots of fresh, untracked snow. Wind was blowing hard, but I think I was warmer than I would have been on a boat.

15" in the last 24 at Baker. Sweet! It's dumping at Whistler now, too.

It is going to continue to dump at Whistler through Friday morning, then when we get there Friday morning, the clouds are going to break and the sun will be shining bright.

Eagle - I will send you pictures.
