I bought an 06 Supra 21V this year and upgraded the ballast to 650lbs in both rear lockers and 1100lbs in the front. Any suggestions on how to get the best surf wake. What is the usual front to back ratio? Does weight in the front middle help? On the Supra the driver's side wake seems a lot better? Any explanation. Thanks

I've been trying to get the surf wake just right on my 21v as well.

I use a 750 in the port rear locker, and one of the original rear bags on the rear seats as well (260lbs). Front sack is full but still the stock 650. I leave the driver side 750 empty.

About 10 mph with wakeplate all the wake up is the best for me so far, but with the driver making a pretty severe left turn. This makes the wake pretty good size and really long (it seems) as well. What I don't like is that it seems you have to stay pretty low on the wake to stay in the sweet spot. If I make a pretty simple mistake on the top of the wave I'll loose it.

I think think next time I go out I will put the other 260 bag up front. to see if that helps create a better transistion...

What are you doing with the wakeplate?
