weighting an air nautique 210 team edition

i have a 210 team edition and have been riding for a left foot forward with left port ballast filled right 1/2 and front full... and i have been running a 250 fatsac up the middle in front, a 550 on the port side, and a 550 sideways on the floor in the middle to back of the boat... the wake is tall but not exactly "surfing type" and suggestions on movement of fatsacs or anything..

Here's what we're running in Mike's 210...

Fill starboard ballast, drain belly and port.
320 pounds of lead in rear locker
fat sack filling the rest of that locker
80 pounds of lead in ice chest
80 pounds of lead by driver
Duct tape covering the vent ;)

whats stock ballist look like on 2006 or 2005 possible to surf?

I have a 2004 210. We figured out this weekend that the rear rub rail needs to be in the water and the wake is phenomenal. We did the following:
- Riding side rear ballast full
- Center ballast full
- 1 Fat buddie (280 lbs) up front on riding side
- 1 fat buddie (280 lbs) rear seat on riding side
- 1 musclehead (270 lbs) sitting on rear deck on riding side.
- The driver sitting on the riding side.

This resulted in a tall, wide, crisp wake with a little curl on the top. Now If we can just get it a little longer I will be happy. You just need to keep tweaking untill you like it. Good luck.

Michael,
If you want the wake a little longer speed it up to about 11.0-11.5. It will give you an extra 3-5 feet of length, but you will loose some height.
We just played around with it yesterday.
If your rub rail is in the water while towing, you have enough weight.

slight correction on matts post (nautie 211 with the shifter on 2) ...

but the set up would be worth trying on a 210... the surf wake is big, clean, and a long pocket...port side requires a little more in the extra ballast sack..

with the new rotation of the prop on the 06 210 the starboard side should be the better of the two on the 06 and the port side on the pre 06's? correct?

yep.... it seems the opposite side require a little more weight and the prop cavitates a little at times..
