another new board thread

say a certain person was 5'5" and weighed 130 lbs would the 138 transcend be too big for this person? also is the platinum worth the extra clams? are both of these better than the 134 substance? finally is the marius gonna just blow everything else away? this person knows he will have to demo but would like to hear opinions anyway. oh yeah btw do i suck enough for none of this to matter?

I would get a substance over a transcend, I might either get the substance or the subjekt.

No, a 138 would not be too big. Most people ride boards smaller then they should anyways. Better is relative. I rode the Substance for a few weeks and then got a Transcend. I like the Transcend much better but they are the top 2 boards IMO. The Transcend fit my style more. Do you suck enough? As long as you are having fun, who cares?

the other day I was on a boat with Trevor Hansen and his new board, and he went out and absolutely killed it. There was another CWB rider there (Tony Carroll) and he was riding a Transcend. He jumped on the Marius for a set and absolutely loved it.

Just for reference, I'm 5'9" 145 and I rode a Substance 141 for a while, and now I'm riding a 138. You would be fine on the Transcend 138.

tis kooth. i am really liking the transcend so i will prolly demo this weekend. i will prolly also take the platinum out for a spin. hopefully i can figure something out from that.
