Remember this is to see who has the most style, not who can do the most tricks. I personally think Greg Nelson, Igor Reouett is right there to.

I'd have to say Jared Couch hands down... I'd say riders like: Greg Nelson, Colin Wright, Shane Bonifay, Shawn Watson, Shaun Murray and of course the Vandal. Most stylish crashes goes to Wake World's own Joe Umali. (Message edited by wakestar8878 on September 20, 2004)

I agree with Stephen. Watson is the king of style. I don't think I've ever seen him doing anything that didn't look cool. I like Shane and Santori, too.

Style is, by definition, a subjective construct, and therefore defies quantitative measurement. Hence, the question as posed "MOST style" appears to be somewhat self-contradictory and might be better phrased as "BEST style." Just my opinion. That said, I like the idea of your thread. As noted in my profile, my top votes go to Byerly, Nelson, Horrell, Harris, and Leslie Kent. Each of these people has developed a completely unique style that is immediately recognizable and was not derivative of others who had come before. There are some others I might be convinced to add, like Necrason and a couple more. Watson has stepped up for the new generation, for sure. Shane has too, certainly in terms of his jibbing style. But it is harder for the younger guys to make their mark as originators, since some of what they are doing is derivative or an extension of what was pioneered by others. But they are doing a nice job. Historically, there are several other west-siders that I believe also deserve credit, some of whom have already been named.

randy harris - his double grabs are insane and he takes everything huge. How many people do grabbed bs 720s 10ft high and 10ft into the flats off the double up??? The guy just goes all out and sacrifices everything. To bad he is taking a 'break'.

RANDY HARRIS. Hes got the sickest style ever. Hes one of the forefathers and knows how to take it big. You just dont see 720 double grabs that are stylish. When it comes to style randy takes it hands down. I think shaun murray is smooth but he doesnt have a style that really stands out. His tricks seem textbook to me. Theres definetly nothing wrong with that, but when it comes to the "best style" it has to be unlike anybody else.

Wake addict, you took my answers! Murray isn't called "the House of Style" for nothing. I love his slow, smooth style. And the Vandal KILLED it in NBT. When my friends ask me to see some sections on my wakeboard dvd's, the first part I show them is his in that vid.

leo check your math on those double ups, I do 10 foot+ high double ups, randy is more like 15+ approaching 20 in natural born thrillaz, and he throws switch hs grab 7s in that section too

I can't limit this to one person, and the people I mentioned in the "byerly" thread would also cross over to this thread. However, I do feel like taking the time to conceed that igor reoutt was freaking sick. I love watching him ride in mayday..he just looked so bad on that rounded double up board...in my opinion, that board brought a beautiful asthetic to wakeboarding...greg nelson's melon rolls to revert on that board are a thing of beauty too.
