He, he... Those are pretty retarded. I've never seen anything like that before. All they need now is a lift so you can put your boat on the roof and an olympic size swimming pool so you don't have to get into the dirty lake water.

Ah come on Evan, you know you would rock that houseboat! It might never look the same once we're done with it though.

There was a houseboat with two helicopters on it at lake Cumberland a few weeks ago. OBVIOUSLY you need a helicopter on a house boat. But who needs two!

Thats the same boat as the original post. But its cool to see it up close. They are truely amazing. The heli's are a bit over the top, but if you got the $$$$ then it sure beats driving.

Mike...I'm pretty sure they've got more than one broom. I'd hate to see what you could do with that. Those choppers might get a bit dangerous the way we drink on houseboat trips, but a sick idea nonetheless. J-Rod, yeah, I'd rock one. I'm just jealous cause they are way bigger than my house. That boat at Pedro is sick. Always wondered how that thing would do in a heavy crosswind. May need to throw out the outriggers.

Actually, the houseboat that you have pictured at Don Pedro has sunk twice and had to have it's own dock built because it was too big to fit in with the other houseboats. The last configuration I've heard it had was pizza ovens on the top floor. They actually passed a law/rule that prevents other houseboats like this one on Don Pedro because of the wind problem like Evan pointed out (and the fact it has sunk twice because of the weight so I'm told).

How well do you think the pool table is going to work? There has got to SOME sway from the waves

why not spend the money on a yacht so you can actually go somewhere worthwhile in it?

I'm not sure how that lake actually is, since I'm from Arkansas but we have some pretty big lakes here. One lake in poarticular where there are hundreds of houseboats. Most od them have huge side thrusters to correct itself from wind, so i'm sure that those bigger ones have even better ones than I'm used to.

I really don't believe that this houseboat sank from the weight either. I'm not trying to disagree or anything but they do very good tests on these boats before the produce them. If it sank even once, the guy would have been built a brand new one. If it did sink, it would more likely be from human error.

That houseboat at Don Pedro is crazy! My favorite part is the diving board off the front.

The Don Pedro House boat is nice. I have seen that boat all over the lake. I have seen it on the move it seems to handle the water fine. It sure is the way I would like to go.
