Does that boat have Peanut Butter interior? I really hope it does because that would make it even better.

Hey Bess, Great shot! Do you have any more shots of the boat? I would really like to get ahold of them if possible. Thanks

I don't really have any other shots of it. I need to take some in the water. But, all I can say, is that I absolutely love it. That thing makes me smile everytime I see it. And it is unreal how much that thing sparkles in the water. I'll try to get some shots of it. If not, I know a pretty decent photographer that might be able to help me out. If you guys haven't checked out Bess's work you are missing out. She takes amazing shots!

benjamin/travis, is this gold metalflake the same as the "shimmering sand flake" that you can see on mastercrafts website..or was this a special deal?

Great looking flake and I really like the attention to detail in the clean/understated graphic. I have always been a fan of subtle details.

Yeah, is that the shimmering sand or did you get MC to do a one-off for you, Travis? I need to get back down to Orlando sometime to come to the camp because 4 years has been too long, but Sasser is keeping me busy here in Dallas with his school. Regardless, I'll see you in a few weeks at the Pro Tour at TXMC. -Andrew

I am pretty sure it isn't the shimmering sand. I know that when Major was doing her first flake book Mike at the Charlotte MasterCraft had a book full of about 50 different flake options. I am sure it wasn't 50 but it was a lot more then the 5 that MasterCraft offers.

I just have to say that I love this community. I've been riding since I was young behind an I/O. Still love the sport as much as anyone else! This year I am bringing home my very first inboard (87 SunSport thread is active now). Paid for my my own hard work. Couldn't be more stoked! Travis please enjoy a cold one for me in that beauty. Give 'er a little hug too. Doesn't anyone else hug their boat? (Message edited by wakemikey on April 23, 2008)

It seems like I am in the minority, but not a fan of the way it looks.... That being said I wouldn't turn down a ride behind it.

That boat is hot! I've had Gunmetal, Red, and Silver flake and I think I like the gold better. Need some shiney water pics.

It's actually gold, not the shimmering sand. There are quite a few colors you can get that aren't shown on the website. And, Tim, it's not for everybody. Only people who like boats that are kickass!

Anywho, you can check them out here: http://bessmarine.pixyblog.com/entry/welcome-wakeworld It's definitely a saawweeet look'n boat bub.

I'm not a fan of all the crazy new wraps that are out there...but that thing is beautiful. Still has some flash, but in a classy package. I think the metal-flake is a great look.

Matt, I have one of the mirrors angled to watch the rider at speed, and the other one angled down a little so you can see them really well when they are in the water getting the rope, or hopping on the platform. I just try to make it where I have to turn my head as little as possible. I sit in that boat A LOT!

Nice thinking on putting the two mirrors on the boat. I can imagine otherwise your neck would be sore at the end of a long day.

Travis or Bess: I was watching the "Ugliest Dog Competition" and they had this fruity little greyhound on there...this dog was gross, it got like 3rd place... but all I could think of was the shot of Bocce (who isn't nearly as gross, I think) running full speed and it looks like an alien... I couldn't find it on the blog! WHERE DID IT GO!

haha, yea, that shot got deleted from the blog... wasn't as sharp as I'd like it to be, that and my buddy mark called me out on it, haha. Was kind of a fun shot though, I just liked it cause bocce looked like a dinosaur in the air, or like an alien, but, if it's not sharp... it's not sharp. poop. I guess ya win some ya lose some.

PS If Bocce were a real dude, I'd say he's definitely funny lookin, but in a hot way. Would never call bocce ugly though... once you get passed that perma scared look he's a handsome little devil. Maybe one of the upcoming blogs will be a more fun/flattering shot of Bocce.

Whoa! Now wait a damn minute. Yes, an Italian greyhound did win the ugliest dog competition, but I don't feel the need to call them fruity. And, "Bocce(who isn't nearly as gross, I think"...what is that all about? Bocce is a good lookin' dude, and in no way fruity or gross. Not to mention he is a world class athlete! If he were human he would be like a David Beckham type, only a lot more talented.

Sorry sorry, all I know of that type of dog is they can be champion ugly dogs and Bess's picture.... haha, again I'm sorry. Travis, what does the boarding school do for camps just after christmas, do you guys take any sort of break around then?... my parents said if I don't move to Florida until after I graduate they'll send me down to wakeboard/get coaching every break I get, it was either that or I'm cut off... I would like to go to the boarding school because of how highly Bess speaks of it, but I don't know if those times make it harder to do. Most likely Jan. 1st - 15th (give or take)

If you ever have any questions/comments (good bad or indiffernt, please if you hate a shot tell me) on any of the shots too (how it was done, processing, etc.) just drop a comment on that image and I'll reply to it. I don't withold any info. I'm a big believer in sharing. And I'm a dork.

My old 1972 Sanger flatbottom was gold metal flake. My personal experience with gold metal flake is that it fades over time. Hope the new stuff lasts longer.
