I rock a 1994 Sea Ray 180 I/O with a 350 mag V8. wondering about ballast. how much is too much? we usually have 5 adults in that little boat. is it just trial and error? I have two 16 gallon barrels that fit perfect in the back with a pump. what about the front? 40/60 right?
I have a buddy that can get my some weights that can fit under the seats in the front.

any info would be nice.

thanks

....with that honkin engine in that little thing and stern drive I would say closer to 50/50....maybe even 60/40......with that weight in the back....try a 450 to 500 pound fat sac up front. in my old out board I used to have 700 in the back and 500 up front but also sat at least 2 peeps up there.
