Anbody use their "Seat Soap"? I am using the Exquisite as of now. I like the fact that it cleans and conditions so to speak, but If you ask me the cleaning power over all as a straight cleaner isn't what I'd imagined it be. Like I said its great for wipe downs after a few days on the lake, but was looking for more of a cleaner type. What are you thoughts on the Babe's? For my beginning of the year detail I use the Starbrite Vinyl Cleaner.

Also I have been a vinegar and water guy for pretty much my boat owning career with a spray wax every few of times out. Hows the Babe's Boat Butter as an every time out thing? Worth the $$? Is it a simple spray on the wet boat and wipe?

And one final question. Where's the best place to get Babes? Obviously their site sells it, but anyone have a "deal" site?

Thanks in advance

I dont have good experience with the seat soap as a cleaning agent but just as you said, its a good wipe down product at the end of the day when you are wiping down the boat..

Ive never used the butter.. but the babes water spot remover works great!

Exquisite is a cleaner and a fantastic one at that. Are you using a brush when cleaning???

I have used both. Exquisite is better.

The butter is binding lube. I think you mean Boat Bright. I use Boat Bright everytime out of the water

I use the 3M vinyle cleaner/conditioner to clean, and the exquisite every couple of weeks to wipe down the interior.

I like the "Seat Soap". Seems to do a good job cleaning and conditioning seats. Also use the "Boat Bright" after ever use. Not much to it, just spray and wipe off.

Seat soap works great. For ground in dirt, you may need a plastic brush to get it all out. After the seat soap, finish off with the seat saver. It's way better than 303, because it puts a UV protectant on the seats, and the vinyl feels supple but not slippery. I always feel like the 303 gives the seats an armor-all slippery feel. I much prefer the Babe's product.
Also if you wipe down the outside with the Boat Bright (green) after every time in the water, your water spots will be completely under control. Overall, these are fantastic products.

I use it too, as said plastic brush if needed then top with seat saver or 303.

I use them and like them a lot but I still give the edge to Exquisite for deep cleaning. I use seat soap for daily wipe down and Exquisite for the scrubbing. I also use the Boat Bright for end of day wipe down it's an excellent product.

Thanks for the responses so far guys. Looks like I will give them both a go. Sorry about the "butter" rather then the "bright" WAs after a 4 hr tow and a weekend at the lake house.

As for my exquisite....I am using the brush asa well. Maybe its just due to the fact that my ride is getting old and some of those spots just have got it ground in. I may be just a tad anal. My 9yr old boat still gleams like it did from day one in the gel and the interior is just getting some spots that just won't come clean. Damn white interior. :-)

Thanks again

its a good wipe down. it doesnt take anthing thats really ground in out. every time we go to the lake we use the seat soap and then the protectant they sell and it keeps them in really good shape. our friend has a malibu and i detailed there boat one time. and the babes seat soap didnt work well on there seats. the only thing i can think of is its a different type of vinyl
