Guess I'm in a posting mood today. I recently posted about my raley that I am not getting write and by the way thanks for all the hints and tips ya'll gave me on that one. Ok I have another trick that I tried to do at the end of last summer. I'm not sure what it is, looks almost like an off axis 360. I have landed this a few times, but when i do, i just hit really hard on my butt and bounce back up, What is this trick and what do I need to do to land it. Got two videos of it.

It's a scarecrow/front roll. We call them a FRO around here. Either pick a front roll or crow and than you we be able to dial it in.

You're trying for a scarecrow or a toeside front roll. The scarecrow would have you landing switch heelside; the ts frontroll would have you landing regular toeside.

If you let go with your lead hand when you are 3/4s through the trick, it will take you to a scarecrow. Pull the handle hard to your hip to get your board underneath you.

You need to think more of a forward somersault for a front roll and you can let go with your rear hand 3/4s through the trick to keep you from going in the 'FRO' position.

Ok, so if i let go with my lead hand, witch would be my left correct? then i will do a scarecrow, what do i need to do to do a frontroll. Which trick is harder, and which trick looks better.

If you are left forward forward, your lead hand will be your left and you would want to hold on with your right to do a scarecrow. Opposite hand for a frontroll.

Scarecrows are easier IMO. I think they both look good though. Scarecrows that are thrown like a front roll with a late 180 are the best looking scarecrows.
Good Luck!

Well if you throw a huge front roll I think it looks better than a scarecrow but in general I would say the scarecrow looks better.

Ok, so instead of sticking the handle out in front of me when i first start this trick, I have to keep it in near my waist. Then i just let go with my left hand 3/4 of the way through the trick. Ok, so 3/4 of the way through the trick what should i be seeing, shoul i still be seeing the sky, or by that time should i have already spotted the landing? And Jeff, I do ride close to the wake. The boat goes about 19 when I am riding, and anything more than where I am at seems impossible to clear the wake. Should i speed up?

try letting ur line out farther.. you will get a lot more air time and land more on the wake instead of out in the flats all the time.
