Just curious if anyone rides with earplugs to help
prevent blowing a eardrum. I blew a eardrum last year and never want to go thru that again, so I had bought a helmet with the earflaps shorty afterwards, but just cant seem to get use to riding with it. Hoping earplugs wont feel wierd or throw my equlibrium(sp) off. Any input?

I use doc's proplugs. They were like $8 or so. They're silicone molded to fit your ear almost perfectly. After perforating my eardrum several weeks ago, I don't ride without them now...

Doc's plugs work, but I have trouble with one falling out. I know some that prefer wax plugs.

So no problem with affecting your balance?

No, ear plugs won't affect your balance.
