I am a new owner of a 07 Moomba Outback. This is the first direct drive boat that I have owned. I ran the boat last season and had it dewinterized by our local dealer last fall.. Due to a recent addition to our family I haven't been able to get it dewinterized until now. Is there anything that I would need to do to get it ready to hit the water other than putting the drain plugs back in it? The engine has been fogged!

change the impellar, put in the plugs, and drop it in the water

Which impeller are you speaking of?

impellar is probably ok for one more season. I usually run mine two seasons but I always keep a spare in the glove compartment just in case.

Raw water pump. Look for the hose that comes from a fitting in the hull to the pump

How do I tell if the Raw Water Pump Impeller needs to be replaced?

It will be missing some fins or just starting to, or cracked. Should replace every other year if not more anyways as part of routine maintenance otherwise it could leave you stranded or worst case left unnoticed a seized engine from getting too hot as it cools it.
