Looks like it's sitting kind of high for 4000#'s in it.

At 2,000 lb the swim platform of a super air is not quite sunk. I don't know if it's got 4K in it, but I'd easily believe 3,000 from that pic.

That is an ugly boat.

Does seem kinda high, but I don't doubt it throws a sweet wake

I've heard it has teddy bears sitted on the clamshell and some silly boy-band poster on the glove
I dont dig much on the pink tower, but i'm sure it's a sick boat

well the 4000# may be speculation, but in an interview with WBM thats what he said, thats all i know, its got the big motor so it still goes, the boat is definitly sick though

I've read he rides at high speed and very far behind the boat, so to make the wake large enough on those conditions he probably needs 4000 pounds in it

That boat doesn't have anywhere close to 4000lbs in it. I've been in a super air with 2500-3000lbs and the platform was in the water 1-2 inchs. I would say closer to 2500lbs.

That's not quite true. It depends how much weight is in front. My friend and I both run about 2500 lbs in ours. He has a bit more weight in the rear and his swim step is in the water, I run a bag in front like that and mine is out of the water in the rear, just barely. It doesn't look like 4000#, but I would say it is probabaly over 3000#. It does look like the swim step is in the water.

scott, when you say big motor in it, do you mean the 8.1? i could only assume so...man, i'm not a air antique guy, but that would be an incredible machine with an 8.1 and 3-4000# in it.

and, ironically i got the pic from www.themalibucrew.com . we were discussing the spy shot of a black and pink ws247lsv that supposedly belongs to dallas friday.

i'm not too well versed on the sim step height of nauti's but on my buddy's cal-air pro-v the swim step is ALWAYS 2-3 inces under water. whe ballast is full and there are people in it, the water covers up my toes when i'm strapped into my board on the swim deck. so i can only assume that picture is misleading. i tend to believe that guys feet are totally submerged on the swim step. just seeing that huge sack in front is proof enough that thing is slammed...although it doesn't look like it judging by the rubrail height....

The swim platform on an unloaded SAN is about 4-5" above the surface of the water. With the factory ballast full (something wimpy like 750 lb) it's 1-2" above the surface. It's just submerged somewhere between 2000 and 2300 lb depending on weight distribution.

That boat doesn't have the python. If it did, the sunpad would have a hump in the middle for the air cleaner. Seein how they have that thing to where the platform is even with the water with 3-4000#'s it probly doesn't struggle that much with whatever motor it has.
