check out www.gcwa.com - some folks that post there live at Lakes of Katy and I'm sure they'd be happy to give you some good info.

I have thoughts... looks like a sewage treatment plant.

Ben -

That picture looks like it's from this year's H-town Showdown, which took place at the Houston area Nautique/Sanger dealership on their private lake.

Lakes of Katy is a waterfront community built specifically for the wakeboarding and waterskiing lifestyle, with 4 stretches of pristine condition water which is available to residents only. Before I purchased my current home, I considered LOK not only for their private water, but also because of their HOA stipulations, which include the requirement of 3000 sq ft homes (not including garage) - property values and demand are very high there.

Just a suggestion: you should probably do a bit of research before you start throwing out ridiculous baseless statements like those contained in your post above.

ridden there...shallow like most ski lakes so its tough to get a good wake...katy gets windy and theres nothing to block it so the water can get pretty blown out

Check out these photos from Lakes of Katy. One of my favorite tourney locations. I would LOVE to live there.

David is right, that photo above is not from Lakes of Katy.
