Good looking ride . . . what's the verdict on performance, ride, finish, and wake, now that you've had it for a while?

I give everything a 10 at this point. I've had it for just about 2 months now and put 22 hours on it and have 0 warranty issues with it. The ride is AMAZING! The stock wake is big enough for my ability, but we did just add the v-drive Fly High sacks for surfing and will probably get some more ballast to position around the boat to make a little better surf wake.

thsoe colors look great together, but tige needs to fire the person in charge of their graphics. I think they may have stolen Buick's lead graphic designer. (Message edited by wake1823 on June 20, 2007)

Sam, I am not happy with the RZ graphic either. However, Tige's other boats, the graphics look nice. I am not sure what they were thinking when they did the graphics for the RZ. But, you can remove the graphics if you like.

I love the graphics but I do wish they gave you some other choices like their Riders Edition graphic or West Coast that were for this boat.

"That might be the worst picture of a wake ive ever seen. got any others? just a clean wake we can see all the way back?" Wow, sorry to disappoint you...These are the first pics we've been able to take, been too busy riding behind the new boat to take pics of the wake.

Radikal- Are you saying my wake is small??? I don't think so it's the same wake as my profile pic, and it's an 06 VLX stock ballast with 3 peeps in the boat and not using the wedge sooo. I wouldn't call it small considering you have a seadoo, but it definitely gets much larger than that pic

VLX with stock ballast & 3 people is small. Sorry to disappoint. From the looks of things, Timmy's picture was taken in some rough ass water and thus the wake looks all whacky. Sick looking boat, I really want to give an RZ2 a ride.

Well Big heav with the right technique you shouldn't need the biggest wake on the lake... maybe work on your technique

Heavy- Never once did I call Timmys wake small I simply said it was a crappy PICTURE of his wake... and would love to see a good PICTURE of his wake. Perhaps even the specs on weight he's running. And if you honostly think a VLX wake with stock ballast and 3 peeps is small maybe you should check out an X-1 X-2 X-Star stock, or any other boats for that matter(their wake is definitely "small" when stock(VLX I'd say is pretty damn good stock and i thought that before we had one)call it ownership googles if you will I don't care I get to weigh it however I like. I could throw the wedge down and it could be even bigger point is it is hard to beat a VLX wake stock. And I'm sure dozens of others agree on that point. But that's not why were here. I'm here to see an RZ2 wake which hasn't really shown up yet. (Message edited by tyboarder03 on June 24, 2007)

I'll see if I can get some better pics later this week, wasn't able to go out this weekend because I hurt my back earlier in the week. The RZ2 definitely doesn't throw the biggest wake out there. It's alright for a non-ballast wake and once we put the V-drive sacks in the lockers it did make a much steeper ramp on it. This is only my 3rd season of riding so I have a lot to learn and honestly don't have the skills to ride a huge wake.

Timmy!- I'm right there with ya. I'm ok skill wise and enjoy stacking the weight to boot myself occasionally but a nice tall ramp is prefferable to my tastes.

No crack, just difference of opinion. Yes a stock VLX is small, better than many but still small. I ride a VLX at least once a week. Why test a boat stock if I will never ride it that way? No, my technique is very good, thanks. Timmy, good luck with the back. Get out & ride that beast!! Don't worry about wake pics, no need to justify anything to us, it looks like its doing exactly what it should. Getting used! Good choice & sweet colors, she looks real clean.

Wow so Big Heav - youre basically just trying to be a big D-Bag by calling my wake small!! Maybe you don't get it... now you're being rude I'd love to give Timmy nubu any of these guys a pull cause they share the stoke for a boat and a sport but not you!! PS your S#it does stink and the wake in your pic may be really vertical but that doesn't make it big (Message edited by tyboarder03 on June 24, 2007)

why is it that someone always has to jump in and piss on someones glory ??? Here is a guy ( timmy ) who is stoked about his new ride , and he has a good reason to be . Then you get some one like tyler who thinks his wake is better ( who gives a dam ) , and thinks he has to be the bigger man and shoot down this guys wake pic . Way to show off that brotherly wakeboarding community attitude !!!

I don't see why everyone is offended. Some people just have a different idea of what constitutes a "big wake." If you tell someone your wake is big, you should probably keep that in mind. Like I said, I rode a slammed RZ and it was awesome. With only the stock ballast, like every other boat, it would not be awesome by my standards.

Regarding wakes, totally agree w/ Heavy & J-Rod. Heavy has been served up some XXL wakes, he knows how big they can get. "If you have only eaten at McDonald's all your life, how are you gonna know what In-n-Out tastes like?"

Tyler , your comment just came off a little harsh and it was easy to see why his wake looked like crap, if you look at the rough water in the pic . And yes , even though this is the internet , the wakeboarding community worldwide is kinda like brotherhood . But then again , all brothers fight once in a while

Seriously this wake isn't worth arguing about, this is the above picture right. Look how curled the top of the wake is almost all the way back, and looks very mushy at the top.

The wake is good actually; just very different. The wake starts out super rampy, and then ends with a huge lip at the top. It looks like it is going to roll over and wash, but it doesn't unless the boat is off balance

Tyler do you actually own your boat???? You were talking smack when you said "I wouldn't call it small considering you have a seadoo, but it definitely gets much larger than that pic"------ no that is talking ish.. and to a fellow early 20's rider nonetheless, who may have paid for his ride. I get you were just wanting to see wake pics, but try a different approach and attitude towards it.
