Anyone? It's supposedly a 97 V Drive, any thoughts on it's potential as a wakeboard boat vs a 1990s prostar 205?Upload

It appears to be a '95-'97 Maristar 200.

Looks like a Maristar 200, but I have no clue as to the kind of wake it throws.

I've ridden behind a '97 Maristar 200 (same as the above pic)...

The wake is much better than any of the older Prostars that I have ridden. The one I rode behind had 400lb pro-x sacs in each of the back lockers, and a 3-400lb sack in the walkway. It is better with a little more weight up front, but still a decent wake. Very rampy.

The surf wake is one of the best I have ever ridden!

The only concern is that the boat tends to porpoise without any weight up front at speeds above 30+mph.

Nice boat - Those Maristars are solid boats and great quality. I would take a V-Drive over a DD-drive any day...
