I just got a 77 Correct Craft Skier. The original graphics on the side of the boat are pretty faded and crappy looking. I was wondering if anyone knew if they were actually decals or painted on. I can feel the edge of them, but I can't seem to get an edge started. They look like they were painted on. Is my only option to sand the entire hull to get them off.

Thanks,
B

Use heat gun, lift-off works (get it @ Homedepot) really well with removing adhesive from MX bike but it's plastic, don't know about using on boat?

a heat gun, a hard sharp edged scraper (you don't want it dulling on you) and some adhesive remover.

soak the decal with the adhesive remover, warm it up good with the gun, and try to get an edge started. if you do, keep warming ahead with the gun and pull slowly and evenly.

here's some i took off the past few weeks, i eventually bought a heat gun
