Best lakes to camp at in Southwest

I'm looking for some really nice lakes to camp at in SoCal, Norcal, AZ, or NV. I live in the LA area and know most of the local lakes near me, but wanted to expand my horizons a bit this summer and take the kids out for 3-5 day lake camping trips. The delta is already on my list, though I've never been there. We usually go to lake powell in July, but don't know if we're going this summer.

Any suggestions?
