Hey all, I was hoping some of you could post pics of your x2 color combos. My family has a new 05 on order and we haven't settled on a color combo just yet.

Have you played with the online tool on the Mastercraft web site? ( www.mastercraft.com)? It's good for giving you a general feel although the color accuracy on the web is way off (definitely refer to the brochure color chip page). We just got a 2005 205V in the new Pro Tour Red and love the darker red (Viper was too bright for my tastes). Also check out www.mymastercraft.com for more photos.

oh yes, I have definately looked at the build your boat tool on mastercraft.com. I was just looking for examples of color combos to see what other people are doing : ) I have a few ideas in mind. Here's an example of one of my favorites right now.

We had red flake on our older X9 and loved it (even though some teased that it looked like a bass fishing boat). I can't imagine the flake with a dark bottom such as above. Have you seen one in person yet? My favorite color combos are solid viper red and solid black hulls. Whatever you choose, I'm sure it will look sweet. Congrats in advance!

Hey, that's cool my wife and I ordered a 05 X-2 a few weeks ago. I think they started to build it last friday. I can't figure out how to capture the screen from the design a boat part. It will be pretty "plain", but I would like to be able to resell it in a few years, so we got mostly white with the main hull being black and a reagal red accent. Remember also right now the decals on the boats above are the 04 version. My wife actually thought they looked better with the boat we ordered so we are getting and 05 with the 04 graphics. The 05 has the orange in the center and the 04's have red. Not to steal the pic I found but this is what she'll look like, but with the new 05 tower and a cool tandem axle black trailer!!!

Everyone is gonna say its ugly but my last boat I got all white. It's been my favorite by far. Always looks clean as long as you just wipe it down. I really like a X-star thats all white almost all the way down on "show off your boat" link.

I have one in lime green, which I love (see my profile). As for 05, I adore the new orange color and also love the red/black/red combination (take a look at http://www.marineworld.com/boatbuyers/jeff_johns.jpg).

Mike, I fixed the red for you. By the way, that's a pretty cool color combo. How did you manage to get MC to do that? Did you just ask your dealer about it or what? Did you have to pay extra for it also?

If you like the different stripe effect, build a 205V (same as X2 minus the wakeboarding stuff) to get a sense of the options. Not sure why they don't offer the multiple hull options on the X2.

the x-45 is a 24ft twin tip v-drive. It was designed to fill the gap between the 23ft xtar and the 28ft x-80. Not sure why they didn't do a 25ft, it would make more sense to me and would be right in the middle of 23 & 28. I also think it would compete more with malibu's and others 25 fts.

Erik, is that a speaker/light combo pod on the tower in the 3rd to last pic? One of my friends who works at a stereo shop has been trying to get me to do that for the last 3 years, I have always kind of made fun of him for that idea(he always has out of this world ideas) but that looks good.

Yep, Mymastercraft.com has the light/speaker combo on their website http://www.mymastercraft.com/pages/speakerhousing.htm just look under the options and you will see you can get the speaker pods with the lights in the front.
