I have a direct drive 2003 Ski Supreme. I need to get to the stuffing box, does anyone know how to remove the center carpet panel behind the engine cover?

Its screwed down to the stringers, you just have to find the screw heads that are somewhat hidden in the carpet around the edges of the panel
