They are "stamping" '07 models, but haven't seen any physical changes. Like last year, the changes may be gel coat options like the ellipse design. If it ain't broke....

not saying its broke but I think the tower could be better, flowing more to the rear. I love mine but I like to see subtle changes each year. Now if they bring the pickle fork to the line up I will be FIRST in line for that baby... I think that will just be a matter of time before they do though. I wouldn't mind hearing Scott P. chime in and give us his take on were he see's Sanger going..

Calvin, Hopefully they dont make any changes closer to 07 and you miss out on those changes buying this early. I know people who bought early 06 V210s and then they changed the interior to make it more plush like the V215, needless to say they were pretty pissed off. I love my Sanger but like Kenny said I wish they were a little more inovative, and when they do come out with a little bling its hard to get. For example, they have had the same dash for years and 06 they came out with some Chrome Plastic gauge bezels to finally dress it up little, in order to get those you have to buy the "Stainless" package wich consists of cupholders, rubrail, and gauge bezels. All I want are the Bezels but cant buy them by them selves. Im sure Kenny would like them for some more flava for his V215 to match that stearing wheel

sure would but not at the asking price they have, when I can get the cup holders for 10 bucks each at a starting point.

i also hope they dont make any changes... but i know for sure they arent going to do anything major so im not really worried. im just happy im getting a nice boat. as to them doing something more innovative... pickle fork is hardly innovative now. seems like every company is making a pickle fork and personally i dont really like the way the look.

Im not big on the pickle fork thing either, I was leaning more towards the Bling factor. What model are you getting Calvin?

not innovative I agree, but I like the extra room in the bow, plus I like the looks if it done right. As for Bling I don't care for the extra cost. I would rather do myself and save the money not to mention put my own spice in.

yea they could use a little more bling i guess. but i like how they are nice and simple. nothing to fancy. nothing in the interior to make you freak out if something happens. less bling there is... less there is to mess up. i want something i can use without worrying about it and thats what i get from the sanger. im gettin a v230 by the way.

Word is that throttle by wire is on the way..... Nice, nice, nice. I love it on my '05 MC. The integrated speed control is soo smooth. I think the CIE crew could be converting back to Sanger next year. We'll see. They get the job done soo well and I dig the seating in the 215 compared to my X1/X2. Oh, plus they have a huge COOLER. Maybe MC should take some pointers on that one.

Thats interesting, do you think you will loose anything in wake performance?

The wake on the 215 is comparable to the x1/x2 the only way that I would be able to tell the difference is to see them side by side. Thats sayin somthin because the CIE boats (05 X2's) both have kickin wakes. My vote is that we wouldn't be giving up much if anything. plus like Evan said the interior is big and the cooler is key, and huge!!!!

You could probably trade the X-2, get the V215 and still come out with change. Nice!

Steve Amestoy, You should check with my buddy Lantz, you met him with me at your house, the machinist. He can make you any bling that you want for your boat if it involves metal. As far as the pickle fork goes Sanger has built some pretty cool pickle forks over the years but the Alley Cat wasn't one of them...

Calvin, You will love your V230 when you get it (i/we have one)!!! ANNNNNNND, I talked to my sanger dealer (Jabez Marine, the only sanger dealer here in MI), and he said the V230s get a new hull design for 2007. The new hull (design/shape) is supposed to help turning and wake performance. I personally didn't think it needed any help as great as it is...but making something awesome even better? sounds good to me. Enjoy.

Random dumb question.... is Sanger pronounced with a 'G' sound or a 'J' sound like Sanjer?

Calvin, you said your boat was stamped 2007. That means you will have the new hull. Why don't you ask your dealer to find out for sure...
