Ok we have a broadcast 5 9 and are pretty good wakeboards but cannot get wakesurfing down without the rope. We are trying it behind a Mobius with 1000 ballast and a Tige 22v with about the same. We are trying to surf on the port side we have the ballast all full with everyone sitting on the port sundeck, are we supposed to empty the starboard rear bag? And what is a good speed? Any tips would help (i almost think we don't have the wake set up right)Thanks!!

I've never ridden behind either boat but I would start off draining the starboard ballast and adding a fatsack to the existing port ballast if available.

I like to ride between 10.5-10.6 but the optimum speed seems to vary not only from boat to boat but from rider to rider(usually in the 10-11 mph range)

Keep experimenting. Minute adjustments make a world of difference and you'll definitely know when you get it right.

Right, like Sean said don't fill the Starboard side, it should be OK to fill center tanks if you have them. Sounds like you might be putting too much weight in the back.

I recently added another 750 fat sack to my set up and was running slow (8.5 mph) so I could ride a really small board. The wake was pretty bad looking. Eventually we moved one guy to the bow and the wake cleaned up very nicely.
