2009 Watson OT/Transit questions

I am in the hunt for some new shoes. Went into the local shop today and wanted to try compare the Watsons and Transits. I ride 2005 transits now but they are getting pretty beat up, and getting new stuff is fun! I'm not a huge fan of closed toe bindings cause my toes always just end up caught and tangled putting them on. Unfortunately they didn't have any OT Watsons or a closed toe that would fit properly for me to compare the two. So I am wondering what peoples take are on the two. I like a stiffer binding that also give a little side to side. Any suggestions and comments would be much appreciated.

watson's will most likely be the one you want. better side flex than transit. where's your local shop?

I go down to Wakesports Unlimited. They had both bindings but not the OT Watsons in my size to try on for a direct comparison. Need to get out on the lagoon for their Friday pulls and see what they have around there.
